New Bear Grylls Knives For 2012

Posted by: SWGK Admin

The Newest Bear Grylls Knives Are Here

With the new year has come a new line of Bear Grylls knives for 2012. Here are some of the offerings you can find this year from the man behind Man Vs. Wild and Gerber Legendary Blades.

The Ultimate Cousin

LIke its cousin, the Bear Grylls Ultimate Knife with serrated edge, the Ultimate Knife with a fine edge is expected to become one of the best selling, most popular knives in the world. Both Bear Grylls knives feature top quality high carbon stainless steel in a drop point blade that gives them a solid, dependable edge retention.

In addition, these Bear Grylls knives offer a texturized rubber grip that is ergonomically designed for the highest level of comfort and the most secure grip possible. In addition, both of these Bear Grylls knives feature a stainless steel pommel in the handle to serve as an impromptu hammer, and an emergency whistle for an added sense of security.

Compact but So Strong

Another one of the new for 2012 Bear Grylls knives is the Bear Grylls Compact Fixed Blade knife. Billed as virtually indestructible, this knife offers a 3.4" full tang 7Cr17Mov blade set in a ruggedly dependable rubber handle designed for a solid, comfortable grip, even when wet. This is one of the best Bear Grylls knives specifically suited to grab, attach to a belt loop or stash in a pack, and go without worrying about whether it will fit or not.

An All New Tool for the Minimalist

While not technically one of the Bear Grylls knives, the Bear Grylls Pocket Tool is certainly worth mentioning. Considered an "updated classic," being a modernized version of the minimalist multi-tool, the Bear Grylls Pocket Tool is already being called "better than a Swiss Army Knife" in personal reviews. And that's saying a lot for Bear Grylls knives or any others.

Featuring two screwdrivers, a bottle opener, and a large fine-edge blade, this new for 2012 Bear Grylls knife is sure to become a classic in its own right, if for nothing else than its handy one-hand opening capability. While the Bears Grylls Pocket Tool isn't a full-fledged multi-tool like Gerber's 400 or 600 series, it's not meant to be. Instead, it adds a couple necessary tools to one of Bear Grylls knives that you'll be proud to carry and to use. Nothing more and nothing less.

Bear’s Got Your Back

There are even more new items in the Bear Grylls gear category this year such as a Bear Grylls Canteen, several "torches," or flashlights, a Bear Grylls Survival Tool Pack, and more. But one thing is for sure, all of the Bear Grylls knives-for 2012 or otherwise-offer the same Legendary design and rugged durability you only find when Gerber is part of this mix. Don't they make a good team... Gerber and Bear Grylls knives?

If you’ve seen Bear Grylls on TV, you know what kind of survival he’s used to, and his Bear Grylls knives and gear are just as rugged.
